Job summary

Adobe Security Engineering invites a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and scale production ML systems for security analytics across Adobe's datasets. You will work on anomaly detection, threat detection, and agentic AI capabilities, shaping architecture with cross-team collaboration.

You will own the ML lifecycle from data features to deployment and monitoring, mentor engineers, and partner with data/platform/security teams to scale pipelines and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Production ML systems experience at scale.
• Model training with PyTorch and transformers.
• Experience with distributed compute (Spark) and cloud (AWS) and MLOps (MLflow).
• Experience with LLMs/generative AI in production.
• Strong Python and SQL; good testing and code review habits.
• Ability to mentor and guide engineers across teams.
• MS or PhD in CS/ML or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end ML systems for high-volume security data, turning experiments into reusable capabilities.
• Own the ML lifecycle, from feature engineering through training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Build LLM and agentic AI capabilities for security investigation, including retrieval-augmented generation.
• Design evaluation frameworks that measure model quality and help analysts trust and validate results.
• Work with data and platform engineers to scale pipelines and resolve system bottlenecks together.
• Mentor engineers and help guide technical direction through design reviews and hands-on collaboration.
