Job summary

Salesforce is building a new Professional Services Security Assurance team to deliver secure implementations and protect customer data at scale. You will be a founding, hands-on security expert driving high‑impact engagements with customers and shaping secure-by-design practices across projects.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, secure code reviews, and mentorship within a growing Security Assurance function as part of the Security Practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting.
• Hands-on experience performing security assessments including architecture/design reviews, threat modeling, code reviews, and penetration testing.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and common attack techniques.
• Experience with modern app architectures: web apps, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud-native, and AI-enabled apps.
• Excellent ability to communicate findings and remediation to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JS/TS, Go, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements by delivering high‑impact security assessments.
• Translate complex risks into actionable security postures and remediation guidance.
• Develop security assessment reports with findings and risk ratings for technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to integrate security across the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to security standards, reference architectures, and secure development guidelines.
