Job summary

Salesforce is building a new Professional Services Security Assurance team to deliver secure deployments for customers. The role focuses on high-impact security engagements and translating complex risks into actionable security postures.

You will be a hands-on technical leader delivering secure assessments, threat modeling, and remediation guidance while shaping the security practice’s foundations and methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Application/Security Consulting or equivalent.
• 8+ years for Lead level in security consulting.
• Hands-on security assessments including architecture/design reviews.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10.
• Experience with modern app architectures (web, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud).
• Ability to communicate findings and remediation to technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements delivering security assessments across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled apps.
• Conduct threat modeling, secure code reviews, and penetration testing.
• Develop reports with risk ratings and actionable remediation guidance.
• Advise customers to improve security posture and governance.
• Collaborate with services teams to embed security across the SDLC.
• Improve assessment methodologies, automation, and tooling.
