Job summary

PingWind seeks a highly experienced Technical Lead & Chief Security Architect/Engineer to drive enterprise security architecture for a major Federal Government client. You will guide secure design, modernization, and implementation across cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, and AI, ensuring compliance with Federal standards.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders, lead reviews, assess risks, and steer teams toward robust security solutions that align with mission goals and enterprise

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of Enterprise Security Architecture Information Security experience at a large company or Government agency similar in size/scope to GSA, IRS, DoD or VA.
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture Implementation, Information SystemsIntegration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, and Network Systems Communications Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise security architecture and engineering activities.
• Lead security architecture and design reviews throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Analyze complex cybersecurity requirements and risks and develop architecture strategies and mitigations.
• Conduct technical trade-off analyses considering security, risk, cost, schedule, performance, and mission objectives.
• Guide architecture methodologies, tools, diagrams, processes, and technical documentation.
• Provide architectural leadership across cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, VR/XR, 5G, PQC, cryptography, quantum computing, AI, and other technologies.
• Coordinate technical direction with program leadership, engineering teams, and Government stakeholders.
