Job summary
PingWind is seeking an Enterprise Architect to provide architecture leadership for mission‑critical enterprise systems, virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, and continuity capabilities. Translate requirements into scalable architectures and roadmaps that support secure 24/7 operations and resilient infrastructure.
The role requires SECRET clearance, strong experience with DoD/Army security standards, and hands‑on design of high‑availability environments, including VDI, OpenShift, and VMware
Qualifications
- Senior‑level enterprise architecture or systems engineering in mission‑critical IT environments.
- Experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter/vSphere/vSAN and OpenShift/VDI platforms.
- Experience designing enterprise storage, backup, replication, and long‑term retention.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead enterprise architecture recommendations spanning virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, and continuity.
- Provide architecture guidance for highly available services and disaster recovery.
- Define integration patterns for policy‑driven protection and recovery across on‑premises and cloud storage.
