Job summary

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting a large Federal Government client. Apply expertise in software development, cybersecurity, cloud security, and automation to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.

The DevSecOps Engineer will work closely with developers, security engineers, architects, and operations teams to embed security controls into development workflows and help our government client deliver secure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of DevSecOps experience with at least 5 years in cybersecurity and cloud security.
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA background investigation/suitability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate and automate security tools within DevOps pipelines.
• Support containerized and cloud-native environments with secure practices.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Collaborate with developers, security engineers, cloud architects, and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation for DevSecOps processes and configurations.
