Job summary

Brivo is seeking a Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve the security of Brivo Video’s SaaS infrastructure in Austin. You will lead security architecture and partner with product teams to bake security into the SDLC and infrastructure planning.

You will monitor threats, conduct threat modeling, drive remediations, and act as a strategic advisor to engineering leadership. Strong experience in cloud-native security (AWS), API security, and service mesh protection is

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, scaling, and maintaining secure SaaS infrastructure in high-availability, cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
• Proven track record embedding security early in the SDLC and enforcing secure coding/architecture standards.
• Deep experience with edge/internal proxy architectures, mTLS, rate limiting, and zero-trust approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and strategy for Brivo Video SaaS infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security by design into SDLC and infra planning.
• Monitor threats and drive timely remediations for zero-day and other security incidents.
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments across technology stacks to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Act as Strategic Advisor, liaising between engineering teams and executive leadership.
• Communicate cyber risks in business terms and advocate for security changes.
• Direct incident response as the highest-level technical escalation point for severe security events.
