Job summary

Brivo is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Austin. You will bridge development and operations, ensuring our global platform stays highly available and scalable, while building automated solutions to reduce toil.

You will work with IaC, Kubernetes, and observability tools to define SLIs/SLOs, participate in on-call rotations, and help mature CI/CD tooling for production readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE or in an infrastructure-focused role.
• Strong experience managing Linux systems in production.
• Kubernetes or similar container orchestration knowledge.
• Proficient in Python or Bash; Golang a plus.
• Experience with incident response and SLO usage.
• Familiarity with AI tooling for automating infra tasks.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Build and maintain automated infrastructure across cloud environments using IaC.
• Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotations and perform root-cause analysis.
• Automation: Drive automation with Python/Bash or Golang to reduce toil.
• Observability: Implement monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana.
• Collaboration: Define meaningful SLIs/SLOs with cross-functional teams.
• Deployment Support: Improve CI/CD tooling for production readiness.
