Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer for Government Cloud Managed Services based in the United States. This senior role designs, operates, and secures government cloud infrastructure across Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and GCP, with on-call duties and cross-team leadership.

You will mentor peers, drive improvements in managed services, and contribute to security, compliance, and architecture initiatives while engaging with customers to ensure high availability and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of IT infrastructure engineering experience, or 9 years total IT engineering experience.
• Advanced certifications in at least two of three major cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud solutions across Azure Gov/Azure GCC High, AWS GovCloud (US), and/or GCP.
• Practical experience applying government security frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, FISMA, DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced operational support, administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for government cloud and hybrid environments across Azure Gov, AWS GovCloud, and/or GCP.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments to meet availability, performance, security, compliance, and SLA requirements.
• Manage incidents, changes, and service requests per ITIL, security, and service management practices.
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation to improve reliability and maturity.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality managed services.
