Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior II Security Architect to lead Guardicore-based segmentation projects for major enterprises. You will design, plan and drive implementations, coordinating with customers across lifecycle stages to ensure successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring extensive security experience, strong networking knowledge, and hands-on scripting skills. Expect collaboration with support and engineering teams to resolve issues and enhance post-sales satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant security experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting software or networking equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems and Data Center Infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proactive learner.

Responsibilities

• Leading the planning, installation and integration of the Guardicore product in diverse infrastructure environments.
• Working with customers throughout a delivery project life cycle from project management and architecture design to installation, configuration and documentation.
• Deploying and implementing network segmentation policies using our state of the art segmentation platform.
• Delivering advanced professional services (such as customizations / training / expansions / configurations / optimizations).
• Working closely with Support and Engineering teams to quickly resolve any client issues and drive customer post-sales satisfaction.
