Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect Senior Lead to assess cloud, network, and application designs against security and compliance requirements, and to translate those requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.

You will collaborate with engineering and InfoSec on risk investigations and remediation, support compliance programs and audits, and drive adoption of security controls through AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience assessing security in cloud systems, Internet technologies, infrastructure, applications, and data governance.
• Expertise in PCI DSS requirements, control assessment, and audit support.
• Experience designing security architectures and control frameworks for distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.
• Support compliance programs, control assessments, and audits using Akamai's common control framework.
• Work with engineering and InfoSec to investigate security risks and define remediation.
