Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect Senior Lead to evaluate cloud, network, and application designs against security and compliance requirements. You will translate requirements into technical specifications and security blueprints for engineering guardrails.

You will support compliance programs and audits, work with engineering and InfoSec to investigate risks and remediation, and drive better security adoption through automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience assessing security in cloud systems, Internet technologies, infrastructure, applications, and data governance.
• Expertise in PCI DSS requirements, control assessment, and audit support.
• Proven experience designing security architectures and control frameworks for distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Assessing cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements.
• Translating requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.
• Supporting compliance programs, control assessments, and audits using Akamai's common control framework.
• Working with engineering and InfoSec to investigate security risks and define remediation.
• Improving adoption and monitoring of security controls through AI and automation.
