Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect Senior Lead to evaluate cloud, network, infrastructure and application designs for security and compliance.

You will translate requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and guardrails for engineering teams. You will support compliance programs, control assessments, and audits while collaborating with InfoSec to investigate risks and drive remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant security experience.
• Experience in cloud, network, and application security with data governance.
• Experience with PCI DSS controls, assessments, and audits.
• Proven ability to design security architectures for distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Assessing cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements.
• Translating requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.
• Supporting compliance programs, control assessments, and audits using Akamai's common control framework.
• Working with engineering and InfoSec to investigate security risks and define remediation.
• Improving adoption and monitoring of security controls through AI and automation.
