Job summary

Kainos seeks a Senior Security Architect (Manager) to design and implement cutting-edge security practices across platforms and services. You will work with Agile teams to embed secure design throughout the software journey and mentor staff while educating stakeholders on security.

You’ll lead initiatives across AI/ML/Data/Cloud security, guiding teams to balance risk, cost, and usability while delivering real customer impact on complex systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading secure design of cloud services aligned with security strategies.
• Ability to identify security gaps in designs and suggest mitigations balancing cost and risk.
• Knowledge of standards (NCSC, ISO, SoC, NIST, PCI, GDPR).
• Experience in AI/ML/Data/Cloud/M365/Security Architecture domains.

Responsibilities

• Design and apply industry-leading security practices for platforms and services.
• Lead and coach a small team, managing performance and career development.
• Educate customers and Kainos teams on security best practices and principles.
