Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Director of Cyber Architecture & Engineering to lead security strategy across cloud, AI, and application ecosystems. You will guide risk management, drive secure design across enterprise platforms, and partner with technology leaders to ensure secure by design practices in a regulated environment.

You will mentor security professionals, influence senior stakeholders, and help evolve the firm’s security posture while aligning security with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Ten years of security architecture experience with leadership
• Bachelor's degree preferred; or 10+ years combined experience with certifications
• CISSP and CCSP or CCSK or equivalent experience; other relevant certs like AZ-500, GCP Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty
• Experience securing cloud, AI-enabled, and regulated enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of cloud-native security controls and secure DevOps practices
• Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in future

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture strategy and risk management to enable business objectives
• Design secure enterprise platforms across cloud, AI, and applications with cross-functional alignment
• Guide vendor partnerships and approve security controls and design patterns
• Provide leadership on emerging security technologies including AI and cloud security
• Lead focus groups and present security roadmaps to senior IT leadership
• Mentor security professionals and contribute to workforce planning and priorities
