EverCommerce is seeking a Security Engineer to build and grow our security program. You will design, deploy, and optimize security solutions across a diverse technology stack, collaborating with development and security teams to embed secure-by-design practices.

The role requires strong communication, solid technical skills, and the ability to operate in a distributed, remote-friendly environment with travel to HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• At least one current security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC).
• Experience with security frameworks (NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001-2022).
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain security architecture and engineering processes and procedures.
• Design architectures meeting cybersecurity requirements and customer needs.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure security requirements are implemented.
• Mentor junior security engineers and analysts; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
