Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Staff Security Architect to shape security for enterprise, cloud, platform, and AI-enabled tech across global environments.

You will partner with engineering, infrastructure, product, and security teams to identify risk, develop scalable patterns, and guide secure adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and agentic systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in security architecture/related roles.
• Deep knowledge across cloud, application, network, identity, platform, and enterprise security.
• Hands-on with cloud-based and containerized environments (AWS / Google Cloud).
• Strong IAM, PKI, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, TLS, and secrets management.
• Experience with CI/CD, secure software development, threat modeling.
• Experience in AI security and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and review security architecture for enterprise, cloud, SaaS, and platform environments.
• Lead cloud security architecture across AWS, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Define security requirements for SaaS/PaaS, data protection, API security, and integration security.
• Drive security throughout the software delivery lifecycle and developer platforms.
• Lead security architecture for AI-enabled systems including LLMs and AI agents.
• Identify design gaps and translate into practical improvements.
