Placements24 seeks a Senior Security Architect to bolster cybersecurity in Paarl, Western Cape. You will design, implement and maintain robust security architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, identifying threats and establishing mitigations.

You will lead risk assessments, threat modeling, and mentor IT staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. This role offers a hybrid work model in Paarl.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of information security experience with at least 4 years in security architecture.
• Proven design and implementation experience for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, application security, cryptography, and IAM.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC are highly desirable.

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Architect to bolster their cybersecurity defenses in Paarl, Western Cape . This crucial role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures across all IT systems and platforms. You will be responsible for identifying threats, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
