Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst to defend a high-profile environment against nation-state and criminal threats. The role centers on analyzing detections, triaging incidents, and coordinating with engineering teams to improve security controls across endpoints and network visibility.

You will help develop detection capabilities, respond to incidents end-to-end, and ensure protection of SpaceX people, missions, and assets in a high-stakes setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security, networking, or systems engineering with a STEM degree or 7+ years without a degree.
• Experience auditing Linux, Windows, or macOS internals.
• Experience with network and host-based data collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the SOC as frontline responder by triaging and remediating detections.
• Investigate security incidents from detection to root cause.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve and secure systems against future attacks.
• Contribute to detection capabilities targeting attacker TTPs.
• Enhance visibility and playbooks for protection of people, missions, and assets.
