Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Investigations Analyst to conduct comprehensive investigations and analyses protecting IP, personnel, and operations. The role triages anomalous data, analyzes insider threat programs, and coordinates with Security, Legal, HR, and external partners to safeguard critical technologies.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in investigations, data analytics, and SIEM tools, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience in internal investigations, information security, or counterintelligence; OR 4+ years professional experience in information security, internal investigations, or counterintelligence in lieu of a degree
• Experience with insider threat programs and investigations
• Experience with data analytics, data pipelines, and eDiscovery tools

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations and analysis in support of SpaceX intellectual property and security
• Triage anomalous event data and assess indicators of data exfiltration or destructive activity
• Collaborate with Information Security, HR, Legal, Government Security, and external partners
• Utilize network monitoring, data analytic, and other tools to identify anomalous activity and drive investigations
• Build metrics, reports and case studies to address mission requirements and timelines
