Job summary

Artemis, a leading AI-driven cybersecurity company in New York, seeks a Senior Security Analyst for Apollo MDR to join founding analysts guiding investigations from signal to resolution. You will work across cloud, identity, endpoint, and SaaS, with direct customer interaction and a path to influence product design.

You will lead investigations, own decisions, and help advance detection engineering while collaborating with engineers to improve the platform for all customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on security operations experience in a SOC, MSSP, or MDR environment.
• Proven investigation depth across identity, cloud, endpoint, and SaaS telemetry.
• Fluency in attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (MITRE ATT&CK) and how they present in real telemetry.
• Strong customer-facing instincts. You have walked the people affected by a live security situation through what is happening and what to do about it.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted investigation or automation, and the judgement to know where it is strong and where it needs you.

Responsibilities

• Own the investigation and the decision - take cases from pickup to close, establish what happened, determine impact and blast radius, set verdict and severity.
• Investigate with depth across identity, cloud, endpoint, and SaaS telemetry; combine AI-assisted investigation with hands-on log analysis.
• Drive response with the customer in control; recommend and execute containment within each customer's limits.
• Move at the speed the threat demands; reach verdict inside target severities and keep critical work moving.
• Be the security partner customers trust; provide clear summaries, reasoning, and final analysis to customers.
• Hunt what nothing has alerted on yet; perform hypothesis-driven and AI-assisted threat hunts across environments.
• Help design the service; founding analysts shape detection standards, workflows, reporting, and the console.
• Make the platform sharper; translate verdicts and patterns into product improvements.
