Job summary

Artemis in New York seeks a Senior Security Analyst to join Apollo, the managed detection and response service Artemis delivers atop its platform. You will lead investigations across cloud, identity, endpoint, and SaaS, determining what a threat means for the business and guiding action.

You’ll work with engineers to shape detection standards and workflows, own case verdicts, and mentor junior analysts as the team scales.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on security operations in a SOC, MSSP, or MDR.
• Threat intel across identity, cloud, endpoint, and SaaS.
• Fluency in MITRE ATT&CK and real telemetry.
• Evidence-driven approach to distinguish suspicious from confirmed.
• Hands-on AI-assisted investigation or automation experience.
• Strong customer-facing instincts and clear written comms.
• High personal bar for analysis; comfortable 24x7 shift.

Responsibilities

• Own investigations from pickup to close with clear verdict.
• Reconstruct attacker activity across identity, cloud, endpoint, and SaaS.
• Guide customers through actions with impact previews.
• Prioritize and move cases per risk and severity.
• Be the security partner customers trust and communicate clearly.
• Hunt threats across environments; turn findings into detections.
• Help design Apollo's investigative standards and workflows.
• Feed insights to detection engineering and product improvements.
