Job summary

Raymond James is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to manage a diverse caseload with a focus on securities-related matters in FINRA arbitrations and state/federal courts. The role is based at the corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL, with in-office work at least 3 days per week.

The attorney will lead outside counsel in significant matters, advise senior management, and develop strategy while maintaining strong client relationships across Raymond James entities.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate with excellent academic credentials and progressive experience in relevant practice areas.
• Admitted to the Florida Bar or willing to take the Florida Bar Exam soon after starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal review and represent the organization on litigation matters.
• Manage a portfolio of litigation matters, primarily FINRA customer arbitrations, and collaborate with senior in-house litigators.
• Coordinate with outside counsel as needed; draft documents and perform legal research.
• Maintain currency in legal issues related to litigation and advise senior management.
