Raymond James & Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced in-house litigation attorney located in St. Petersburg, FL. The role focuses on securities-related matters, FINRA arbitrations, and state/federal court litigation, with collaboration across the Raymond James entities.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload, develop strategy, engage in discovery and settlements, and advise senior management. Hybrid work arrangement requires in-office presence at least 3 days.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate with minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in relevant practice areas.
• Admitted to the Florida Bar or willing to take the Florida Bar Exam within a short period after starting.
• Experience in FINRA customer arbitrations and litigation in federal/state courts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides legal review and represents the organization on litigation matters.
• Manages a portfolio of litigation matters, primarily FINRA arbitrations, collaborating with senior in-house litigators.
• Coordinates with outside counsel; drafts documents and conducts legal research.
• Provides litigation advice to senior management; leads presentations on litigation matters.
• Mentors and trains others; fosters teamwork and client relations.
