Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mobile Developer to design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter and Dart for iOS and Android in a hybrid Minneapolis environment.

You will collaborate with product, UX, cybersecurity, and backend teams to deliver secure, high-quality mobile solutions that integrate with cloud services and RESTful APIs while adhering to regulated healthcare requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience developing mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns and software design principles.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with product management and UX teams to translate business and clinical requirements into intuitive, user-friendly mobile solutions.
• Develop secure integrations with cloud platforms, RESTful APIs, backend services, and connected medical device ecosystems.
• Participate in mobile architecture design, technical planning, and code reviews to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.
• Ensure mobile applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and usability standards across devices and platforms.
• Support mobile application testing and validation activities, including defect investigation, triage, and resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
• Follow software development processes aligned with regulated medical device and healthcare requirements.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement secure mobile development practices and protect sensitive data.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation details, and test artifacts.
