Alertus Technologies seeks a Lead Frontend Engineer to architect our web and mobile experiences using Flutter. You will mentor the team, champion accessible UI, and bridge frontend to native iOS and Android code while shipping high‑quality products from Baltimore.

You will lead complex projects, drive performance visibility, and collaborate with product/design to deliver inclusive, scalable interfaces across devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience and proven Flutter shipping track record.
• Strong understanding of WCAG and inclusive UI practices.
• Experience mentoring software teams and leading complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of web and mobile ecosystems using Flutter.
• Mentor the software team and set best practices for scalable code.
• Ensure WCAG compliance and accessibility across platforms.
• Oversee iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) bridge work and plugins.
• Collaborate with product/design to translate complex requirements into intuitive UI.
