- Identify gaps in existing accounting processes, develop practical solutions, and help establish more effective reporting procedures and internal controls.
- Support financial close and reporting activities while helping improve timelines, accuracy, and overall efficiency.
- Research and document technical accounting conclusions, ensuring appropriate support for financial statements and disclosures.
- Partner with accounting and finance leadership to resolve complex issues, manage competing priorities, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
- Operate independently in an environment with limited established processes, taking ownership of assignments from assessment through completion.

- Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in EPS and stock-based compensation/equity accounting.
- Strong Workiva experience is a must.
- Experience with Equity Edge is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex accounting and financial reporting issues.
- Experience working in a scaling organization where responsibilities extend beyond a narrowly defined role.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex accounting matters.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active CPA license preferred; candidates with an inactive CPA should also be considered and clearly identify their license status.
