Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Manager to lead the external financial reporting process, SEC filings, and related infrastructure. You will administer Workiva, support XBRL compliance, and ensure rigorous tie-out and disclosures in accordance with U.S.

GAAP. You will partner with Accounting, Legal, HR, and other stakeholders, oversee stock-based compensation disclosures, and support SOX 404 activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• Typically 6+ years of applicable accounting and financial reporting experience with a bachelor’s degree; public company SEC reporting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718 and with Workiva/XBRL.
• Experience with SOX 404 controls, financial reporting controls, and external audit support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and coordination of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q/10-K) and related disclosures.
• Manage external reporting calendar and cross-functional inputs to ensure filing readiness.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, schedules, and disclosures for GAAP/SEC compliance.
• Perform tie-outs and consistency reviews across filings and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with Legal, Investor Relations, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to align external reporting.
