Job summary

Allient Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Corporate Headquarters in Buffalo, New York, as part of a growth-oriented finance team.

You will lead preparation and review of 10-K/10-Q/8-K, coordinate with external auditors, investor relations, and legal counsel, and drive accounting research for significant transactions.

This is a hands-on senior role with opportunities to influence disclosures and collaborate with management at the highest levels.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of progressive SEC reporting experience.
• Experience preparing Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statements, and earnings releases.
• Strong technical accounting with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• CPA required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with XBRL and SEC filing platforms.
• Experience interacting with external auditors and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-K/10-Q/8-K, proxies, earnings releases).
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting schedules per US GAAP.
• Coordinate quarterly/annual reporting with management, legal, IR firm, auditors, and filing agents.
• Prepare earnings releases and investor presentations for consistency with SEC filings.
• Lead technical accounting research and position papers on significant transactions.
• Support Disclosure and Audit Committees with materials and certifications.
• Maintain expertise on SEC regulations, US GAAP, SOX, and new developments.
• Coordinate XBRL filings and internal-control documentation.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and IR firm on SEC matters.
• Collaborate with external IR firm on SEC filing and disclosure matters.
