Job summary

PROCEPT BioRobotics seeks a hands-on accounting leader to own SEC reporting and technical accounting for a growing public company. You will drive determination of disclosures, processes, and controls, partnering with cross-functional teams and external auditors.

The role requires strong technical accounting foundation, CPA, and extensive experience with SEC filings, Workiva, and stock-based compensation disclosures. Opportunity to influence international operations and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA required; public-company experience preferred.
• Strong research and documentation of complex accounting matters.
• Experience with SEC reporting, Workiva, inline XBRL tagging, and EDGAR filings.
• Ability to translate complex accounting into practical guidance.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead key elements of the SEC reporting process (Form 10-K/10-Q/8-K).
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A variance analysis.
• Coordinate with accounting, FP&A, legal, tax, treasury, IR, and auditors.
• Develop and update accounting policies; monitor new standards.
• Engage with stakeholders on transactions and accounting matters.
• Lead and review stock-based compensation accounting and disclosures.
