Job summary

PROCEPT BioRobotics is seeking a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead the company’s SEC filings and complex accounting matters. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

You will own the external reporting calendar, coordinate with auditors, and translate accounting requirements into practical controls and disclosures. Experience with Workiva, EDGAR, and stock-based compensation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA required.
• At least four years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with public-company reporting and SEC requirements.
• Ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with Workiva, inline XBRL tagging, and EDGAR.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review key SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) using Workiva.
• Lead technical accounting research and document memos.
• Develop and update accounting policies.
• Monitor new standards and assess impact.
• Collaborate with business, Legal, FP&A, Tax, and IR.
• Translate accounting conclusions into journal entries and disclosures.
• Oversee stock-based compensation accounting and disclosures.
