Job summary

MaxCyte, Inc. seeks an experienced SEC Reporting professional to lead external reporting, maintain technical accounting standards, and manage the SOX compliance program.

This role partners across Finance & Legal to convert complex events into clear disclosures and robust controls. The ideal candidate has CPA certification, 7+ years of public company accounting experience, and a strong track record with 10-K/10-Q, MD&A, and EDGAR filings.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required
• 7+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or public-company reporting
• Experience preparing 10-K/10-Q including MD&A
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC requirements, and SOX compliance
• Excellent financial writing and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and related disclosures
• Provide technical accounting analyses and memos on complex transactions
• Oversee SOX 404(a) program and coordinate with internal/external audits
• Coordinate with tax, legal, FP&A, and other stakeholders for disclosures
• Support acquisitions and significant transactions with accounting analyses
