Job summary

Core Spaces in Chicago seeks an SEC Reporting Manager to oversee the company’s SEC filings and disclosures under US GAAP. The role leads 10-Q/10-K filings, MD&A drafting, and disclosure controls while driving close-to-report transformation.

You will coordinate with accounting teams, external auditors, and senior leadership to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• CPA preferred for advancement and responsibilities.
• Strong technical writing capabilities and MD&A drafting experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle SEC filings (10-Q/10-K).

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation, review, and timely filing of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and related SEC submissions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify complex rules and regulations.
• Draft and refine MD&A with senior leadership.
• Lead quarterly close-to-filing workflow and internal controls coordination.
• Oversee XBRL/iXBRL tagging and reporting accuracy.
• Continuously improve reporting processes, automation, and governance.
