Job summary

MaxCyte, Inc. seeks an experienced accounting professional to lead external reporting, ensure SEC disclosures, and provide technical GAAP guidance. This role partners across finance and business units to translate complex transactions into clear accounting treatments.

Responsibilities include managing Form 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings, SEDEX monitoring, and overseeing SOX compliance. A CPA with 7+ years of public company experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, technical accounting, and SOX compliance.
• Ability to research complex accounting matters and translate into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related SEC disclosures.
• Oversee external reporting timelines and coordination with stakeholders, including EDGAR filing support.
• Provide technical accounting analyses and memoranda on complex matters.
• Support acquisitions and significant transactions with accounting analyses.
• Manage SOX 404(a) program and liaison with internal audit.
