Qualifications

• 7+ years accounting experience, including 2+ years at a Big 4 audit firm and progressive SEC reporting at a public company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience researching and resolving complex technical accounting issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of driving change, improving processes, and scaling operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements (S-1, 10-K, 10-Q).
• Lead close-to-reporting processes ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
• Support XBRL tagging and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Investor Relations on inputs and data flows.
• Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations for stock-based comp, leases, and complex areas.
• Research complex transactions to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, coordinating requests and supporting documentation.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
