Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Manager, SEC Reporting to lead the preparation and filing of financial statements and disclosures in line with US GAAP and SEC standards. You will drive the technical accounting framework, mentor the reporting process, and coordinate with auditors and finance teams across the organization.

You will oversee external reporting activities, optimize the reporting platform, and ensure robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in SEC reporting within a public company.
• Knowledge of complex technical accounting areas; equity, inventory, and taxes.
• Experience with SOX and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Familiarity with US GAAP, SEC regulations (S‑X and S‑K), and EDGAR filing process.
• Hands‑on experience with financial reporting software (Workiva/Wdesk, ActiveDisclosure).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage external financial reporting activities, including quarterly and annual statements, MD&A, MD&A, and SEC filings.
• Own and optimize the financial reporting platform to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Lead accounting policy development and alignment with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions and new standards.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
• Support tax compliance in collaboration with external advisors.
• Execute SOX controls related to financial reporting and disclosures.
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, Treasury, Tax, and Legal to drive initiatives.
• Lead process improvements to enhance reporting and scalability.
