Job summary

Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior SEC Reporting Accountant in Westchester County, NY to support SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, technical accounting and regulatory compliance under U.S. GAAP.

The role collaborates with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate has a CPA or CPA exam progress, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 3+ years of public or corporate accounting with SEC experience, and strong Excel and financial reporting system

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA designation or completion of CPA exam sections preferred.
3+ years of accounting experience with SEC reporting (10-Q/10-K) required.
Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC filing requirements.
Strong Excel and financial reporting system skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) and maintain schedules.
Assist in financial statement preparation and reporting packages.
Research technical accounting matters and ensure GAAP compliance.
Analyze financial results, reconcile schedules, and investigate variances.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to gather accurate data.
Identify process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
