Job summary

Comcast is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Video Integration team in New York. You will contribute to core SDK products, designing and implementing new capabilities and improving cross-platform reliability for major video platforms.

The role requires hands-on development on at least one client platform (Web/JavaScript, iOS/tvOS, or Android). Experience with Connected TV, video streaming, or SDK development is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals including OO or functional design, debugging, testing, and API design.
• Experience designing, developing, or integrating client-side libraries, SDKs, apps, or reusable components.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain FreeWheel AdManager SDKs across Web, iOS/tvOS, Android, and Connected TV.
• Design stable APIs to enable video players and applications to integrate with FreeWheel services.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Solutions Eng, and other teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
