Apera is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) to own test automation across production software, APIs, and distributed systems. This remote role offers exposure to the CTO and a chance to shape quality engineering as the first SDET hire in North America.

You'll build automation frameworks, define testing strategy, improve coverage, and solve complex quality challenges in a fast-moving seed-stage AI startup.

• Strong Python skills and automation framework experience.
• Experience testing complex distributed systems in production.
• Ownership mentality with ability to define testing approaches and own quality issues.
