Job summary

The Clearing House seeks a Senior Software Developer Engineer in Testing to design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for a real-time interbank payments platform. You will ensure functionality, reliability, and performance across distributed systems within a cloud-native modernization effort.

The ideal candidate has strong automation experience with Java/Selenium, AWS, and DevOps practices, and thrives on solving complex testing challenges in a highly regulated payments environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience (6+ years).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Translate manual test plans into automated tests across products.
• Automate testing in a DevOps environment and with cloud-native architectures.
• Lead QA efforts on projects and mentor junior QE members.
• Communicate status and risk to stakeholders and improve testing practices.
