Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior SDET - Playwright & Selenium Test Automation to design and implement scalable test automation solutions that improve software quality and accelerate release cycles. You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality application delivery.

You will build and maintain automated test frameworks with Playwright and Selenium, integrate tests within CI/CD

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Proficiency in Java for test automation framework development.
• Experience with automation tools such as AccelQ, Cypress, and Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Selenium for web application testing.
• Build and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test automation solutions across multiple applications and platforms.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and support faster, more reliable releases.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to drive timely defect resolution.
• Improve automation coverage, framework reusability, testing efficiency, and quality metrics through continuous process improvements.
