Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Senior SDET – QA Automation (Playwright & Selenium) to design and implement scalable test automation that improves software quality and accelerates release cycles. You will collaborate with QA engineers, developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

This remote role requires 7+ years of hands-on automation experience with Playwright or Selenium, Java for framework development, and familiarity with CI/CD tools and API

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium in test automation.
• Proficiency in Java for framework development and maintenance.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of API testing and service validation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
• Build and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests across multiple apps.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Analyze test results and work with development teams to drive defect resolution.
• Improve automation coverage and framework reusability through process improvements.
