Job summary

LiveView Technologies in American Fork, UT seeks a Senior SDET I to drive quality, performance, and scalability across our software products. You will design scalable automation frameworks, elevate testing infrastructure, and champion best practices across a multi-service architecture to improve stability and deployment velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software automation and quality engineering.
• Expert in Python or TypeScript with clean, reusable code.
• Experience building test frameworks with Playwright, Selenium, Appium, PyTest, or Postman.
• Experience with microservices, data validation, and NoSQL/SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong debugging and observability skills (ELK, Datadog, Splunk).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for fast feedback.
• Lead quality initiatives across multi-service projects and set code-review standards.
• Perform deep-dive root-cause analyses for intermittent distributed failures.
• Design and execute performance, stress, and load tests for resilience.
• Build internal tooling, mocks, and dashboards to boost developer productivity.
• Maintain manual testing where automation is not viable for coverage.
• Mentor junior-to-mid-level SDETs to raise the technical floor.
