Job summary

You will lead test planning, estimation, and release validation while creating scalable automation using Playwright, RestAssured, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG. The role requires strong experience in CI/CD with GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and SonarQube, plus cloud familiarity with Azure or AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Agile development and Jira.
• 5+ years testing distributed applications across multiple layers.
• 5+ years in Test Management lifecycle.
• 6+ years strong DB knowledge (Oracle/DB2/Postgres) with PL/SQL.
• 6+ years in test automation design, development and execution with RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG.
• 5+ years CI/CD experience (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube).
• Experience with Azure/AWS cloud technologies and DevOps.
• Experience with Stock Plan Services/Brokerage is a plus.
• Ability to design test strategy and automation for new product.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies for web apps, APIs, and databases.
• Lead end-to-end test management, including planning, estimation, execution, defects, and release validation.
• Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Spring Boot, RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Design automation solutions for functional, integration, regression, API, UI, and end-to-end testing to improve test coverage and release quality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives using Jira.
• Design and implement automated API testing solutions using RestAssured, Karate, and other modern testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated test-suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and SonarQube.
• Leverage Azure or AWS cloud platforms to support testing activities in cloud-native and distributed environments.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, test reports, automation architecture documents, and quality metrics.
