Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks a Sr. SDET Engineer (Playwright / RestAssured) to join our Merrimack, NH team onsite.

You will design, develop, and execute test strategies for web apps, APIs, and distributed systems, driving end-to-end test management and release validation. Lead automation frameworks in Java/Spring Boot with Playwright, RestAssured, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG; implement CI/CD with GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and SonarQube; work with Azure/AWS cloud platforms to support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Agile experience with Jira and test management.
• 6+ years testing distributed applications across multiple layers.
• Strong programming in Java/Spring Boot and solid SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for web apps, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Lead end-to-end test management activities including planning, estimation, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and release validation.
• Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Spring Boot, RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Design automation solutions for functional, integration, regression, API, UI, and end-to-end testing to improve coverage and release quality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, Developers, and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies using Jira; integrate automated tests into CI/CD with GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, SonarQube.
• Leverage Azure or AWS cloud platforms to support cloud-native testing environments.
