Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years strong DB knowledge (Oracle/DB2/Postgres) with PL/SQL.
• 6+ years in test automation design, development and execution with RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG.
• 5+ years CI/CD experience (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube).
• Experience with Azure/AWS cloud technologies and DevOps.
• Experience with Stock Plan Services/Brokerage is a plus.
• Ability to design test strategy and automation for new product.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives using Jira.
• Design and implement automated API testing solutions using RestAssured, Karate, and other modern testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated test-suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and SonarQube.
• Leverage Azure or AWS cloud platforms to support testing activities in cloud-native and distributed environments.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, test reports, automation architecture documents, and quality metrics.

We are currently seeking a Sr. SDET Engineer (Playwright / RestAssured / FTE / Onsite) to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Agile development methodology and Jira tool
• 5+ years of experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Test Management lifecycle
• 6+ years of strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or DB2 or Postgres and experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc.
• 6+ years of strong experience in Test automation design, development and execution using frameworks eg. RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG.
• 5+ years of strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment – GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure/AWS cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD experience.
• Experience in working with Stock Plan Services/ Brokerage is a plus.
• The candidate should have experience in designing test strategy, test automation suites independently for a new product/application.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $97,725.00 to $162,875.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
