Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced platform SWQA engineer to own testing for HGX/DGX/MGX servers and CUDA stacks. You will automate server and OS tests, investigate reliability failures, and lead bug lifecycle management in an agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in OS/server automation, Python/CI/CD, and strong Linux troubleshooting, plus experience with AI tools and virtualization in Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in STEM field.
• 5+ years proven experience; or master's degree.
• Experience with Python, SHELL, Ansible, Jenkins, C/C++, Java, JavaScript.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting in bare-metal and KVM/VMware/Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of AI tools/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Cursor, etc.), NLP and LLM benchmarking.
• Experience using AI development tools for test plan creation and automation.
• Experience in firmware, BMC/OpenBMC, storage devices, PCIe, IO sub-devices, CPU/memory, ACPI, UEFI, Redfish.
• GitHub/GitLab/Gerrit, PXE, SLURM, Kubernetes/Docker a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute NVIDIA HGX/DGX/MGX platform test plans on servers, OS, firmware and CUDA stack.
• Install and test OS, server firmware, and software stacks.
• Drive root cause analysis for reliability and validation failures.
• Build automation front-end and back-end for server and OS testing.
• Review partner test results and prescribe additional reliability testing.
• Work in an agile software team with high production quality standards.
• Manage bug lifecycle and coordinate cross-group solutions.
