Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join the Compute CUDA Quality Assurance team and drive validation readiness for PCIe Data Center GPU programs. You will develop test plans, build automation, and apply AI-assisted analysis across Linux/Windows environments.

We collaborate across CUDA, NVIDIA Driver, GPU architecture, firmware, and program teams to translate features into measurable coverage and drive issues to resolution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software quality, test automation, or validation.
• Experience solving Linux and Windows system issues; coding in Python, C, C++, CUDA, or Bash; debugging across layers.
• Knowledge of QA methodology, risk-based planning, regression strategy, release readiness, CI/CD, and log analysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork to clarify ownership, dependencies, and blockers.

Responsibilities

• Develop CUDA Compute test plans and coordinate validation across PCIe HPC GPUs, OEM servers, configurations, OS, driver modes, CUDA versions, and release stages.
• Build Python, C, C++, CUDA, and Bash test apps, automation frameworks, release configs, and GitLab or Jenkins pipelines; convert failures into regression coverage.
• Separate product regressions from automation, infrastructure, and intermittent issues; drive defects with clear steps and evidence.
• Apply AI assisted tools to analyze test runs and validate conclusions against logs and decisions.
