Job summary

eHealth seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and execute automated test suites ensuring software quality and reliability. You will collaborate with engineers, QA, and product managers to define test strategies and implement automation solutions.

Responsibilities include building automated test frameworks, implementing tests for APIs and web apps, and driving testing requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years as SDET or Software Development Engineer in Test.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, Java, Python, C#, or similar.
• SQL/DB proficiency with basic joins and aggregates.
• Experience designing automated test frameworks and suites.
• Experience in CI/CD processes and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve testability and quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Create test plans, cases, and reports; participate in code reviews.
• Stay current with software testing trends and best practices.
