Job summary

KMM Technologies is seeking a Senior SDET/Automation Engineer with a healthcare claims background to lead automation initiatives in Reston, VA. This hybrid contract role requires building frameworks from scratch using Java, Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, and Karate, plus strong SQL/API testing and AWS migration experience.

The ideal candidate will own test strategies, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate within Agile teams while addressing performance and security

Qualifications

• Healthcare Claims experience required.
• Expert in TypeScript and Karate.
• Able to build frameworks from scratch in Java, Selenium and Playwright.
• Strong experience migrating legacy apps to AWS with MongoDB/PostgreSQL.
• CI/CD integration in Agile environments and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive automation framework strategy and architecture.
• Lead SME for QA automation and testing practices.
• Implement and maintain tests for RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and report test results clearly.
• Ensure performance and security testing is incorporated and tracked.
